Monki is coming to Selfridges!!
Seriously, you have no idea how excited this makes me. When in Sweden, my beautiful friend Hanne introduced me to Monki. Quirky, cute and oh so fashionable,I instantly fell in love and was sad at the prospect of never (convienantly) shopping there again.
But now comes the news that Monki is opening up a pop shop as of September in Selfridges.
“We experience a high demand for our design,” says Monki Chief Operating Officer Henrik Aaen. “So, naturally, we have been considering the perfect first step to take on the UK market for quite some time. Today, we are thrilled to have found the ideal place for bringing our unique concept to London.”

Dirty Sexy Things
So I don’t know if ya’ll have been watching Dirty Sexy Things on E4 for the past 5 weeks or so, but it’s definitely worth a watch.
An insight into the life of a British model, DST does indeed portray certain elements true to the fashion industry. However (and it does warn us of this at the beginning of every episode) some scenes are created for entertainment purposes. Despite this, this is done in a rather tasteful and natural, say compared to it E4 counterpart made in Chelsea. The glorious photographer Perou also plays a key part in the show, photographing the models each week as to create a new fashion exhibition. And it’s safe to say that he definitely give the show that extra spark. As does the hunky male model BB (actually my future husband).
